A wedding at the Liberty House Restaurant could not have been more perfect for these two. Daniel and Marianne are (for lack of a better word) obsessed with New York City. Together they enjoy everything the city has to offer…they take in the opera, try out new breweries and restaurants, go to the theater…they are out every weekend enjoying all the city has to offer.
So it was only fitting that they hold their most special day together in an intimate gathering of friends and family at the gorgeous Liberty House Restaurant overlooking lower Manhattan.
Even though it was supposed to rain literally ALL DAY, it didn’t! It was a perfect day celebrating with these two. I have known Danny for quite a few years and have enjoyed seeing how their personalities compliment each other. They truly are perfect for each other. When we did their engagement session, we were originally supposed to shoot at Lincoln Center, but there was some conflicting information regarding needing a permit so we ended up not being able to shoot there. Being thrown off of an original plan for your engagement session might rattle some, but not these two. They were flexible and excited to adventure elsewhere in the city for their session.
Everything about their wedding day was classic and fun. Their family was incredibly sweet and welcoming. The bridal party was a RIOT and loved to dance. The location was perfect. The added touches of details like the table cards with names of NYC places they loved to visit, a cake from Carlos Bakery and a photo booth made everything about this day so “them”.
It was an honor to spend the day with them and document the beginning of their life together. Congratulations Marianne and Danny!
