A Holman Ranch Wedding | Marianna & Michael

Marianne and Michael’s Holman Ranch wedding was absolutely gorgeous! After waiting two long years (thank COVID), these two finally tied the knot surrounded by family and friends. You may remember seeing these two lovebirds in a previous journal entry where I showcased their Big Sur engagement session! However, I am very pleased to finally be sharing their beautiful wedding portraits too. There were so many meaningful moments during Marianne and Michael’s wedding day and it truly was a day to remember!! Read on to see all the love, joy, and endless smiles!

The beginning of Marianne and Michael’s big day was calm and collected. When I arrived the morning of their wedding, I found Marianne and her bridesmaids crowded around a puzzle. I soon found out that the goal of the weekend was to finish the puzzle, which was so funny but also so wholesome! There were no hustle and bustle about getting ready for their big day. The couple was so laid back, but also very excited to officially tie the knot. This equestrian-themed Holman Ranch wedding had all the perfect little details. I was absolutely obsessed with the horseshoes that had their names attached.

When I was creating the timeline of the day with Marianne and Michael, I learned that there was a special number that held significance for Michael. So, we moved the whole timeline around! These two did a first look together at 1:07 pm. Even though I didn’t quite know the significance this number had to the couple, you could see just how much this meant to them during their first look. You know love when you see it and it’s obvious that these two love one another!

Marianne and Michael’s ceremony was absolutely stunning. The couple stood together at the altar, the mountains making a beautiful backdrop for the long-awaited event. Marianne’s lace train was showcased along the top of the stairs. Honestly, you couldn’t have asked for a more picture-perfect ceremony site. If you are looking for a wedding venue that has beautiful views at every turn, Holman Ranch is for sure to be at the top of your list!

I have to give major props to Marianne’s mom, who had a role in the planning of this wedding. All the details came together beautifully and it was truly a day to remember with special little touches that meant so much to the couple. From start to finish, Marianna and Michael’s wedding was absolutely breathtaking. I was so honored to be a part of their special day and I am so happy with the way these wedding portraits turned out!
