I believe in unseen moments & celebrating the moments you feel the most like yourself.
Trends and aesthetics come and go, but our images are created to last: classic, beautiful, authentic portraiture captured for loved ones to enjoy 50 + years down the road.
We document moments that others typically overlook. From your grandmother crying during the first dance to the single breath your future forever takes right before they see you walk down the aisle. Even the sweet flower girl’s smile won’t go unnoticed. We live for small moments.
I attended Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania (yes, The Office fans, Scranton!) and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art Film. After 13 years of being in the business, I have expanded our team, enabling us to capture an even greater number of heartwarming love stories. When I’m not taking photos, I love to help other photographers create sustainable and successful businesses of their own.
Meet Kristin
Director of operations
Kristin is our right-hand woman. She has helped us grow so much over the last few years and has always been a true believer in our business and mission. Kristin joined the team in 2018, starting as an office assistant, became an associate photographer, and now is director of operations in our company, helping us focus on our education services. Kristin has a deep love for photography and continues to shoot as an AGS associate as well.

Meet Sam

Samantha is our newest associate photographer and loves photographing families and couples. She has been well immersed in our training to become an AGS associate so she can deliver an elevated experience for more couples. Meet Victoria

Victoria is one of our talented Associate photographers. She has been on our team for three seasons and is our main second photographer at our weddings. She’s a true artist and brings such a calming experience to our couples during her sessions. Our Story
explore my journey from high school amateur to award-winning photographer & educator.
2004
I shot my first elopement at 16. I was in high school, finding my passion. I fell in love with it from that day forward!
2006
Went to Marywood University and got a Bachelors Degree in fine art photography. I honed my film skills and fell in love with classic portraiture.
2010
I graduated! AGS Photo Art was born in PA. We started photographing both internationally and domestically.

2013
I met the love of my life, Jonathan.
2014
I became bi-coastal and moved to Carmel, CA.
2015
I was diagnosed with eye cancer. I could no longer photograph out of my left eye and taught myself how to photograph with my right. The experience made me realize how blessed I am to do what I do. I feel like I was put on this earth to tell stories.
2016
AGS Photo Art found our home at the Cottage in Carmel Valley. This was a dream come true and we love meeting our clients in person.

2017
We opened up the doors to Suite Q studio, where we photograph bridal boudoir and bridal portraits. It’s also open to our community to grow and create. We love giving back to our community.
2021
I had my first baby! His name is Tiger and he is furry, ferocious and as curly as can be! And he loves fish sticks!
2023
We photograph 25+ weddings and 100+ sessions per year and our team has grown to 7 members. We've expanded our educational branch and teach photographers how to grow a sustainable business and follow their dreams.

Paying it Forward
When I was diagnosed with eye cancer at 26, I quickly realized how I might never be able to photograph again. I have been so fortunate during my time of need from friends, family and strangers. I want to do everything in my power to help others who are also in need. My couples have been so amazing and supportive during the years. With every wedding and session, I give a percent of the proceeds donated to some of my favorites causes.

Our sweet, historic office is found in the heart of Carmel Valley. This little cottage is where we design and build our clients beautiful heirlooms, where we have in-person client consultations and where you can find our team most days of the week.
