This Tehama Carmel Wedding was absolutely gorgeous. Every detail of this wedding was perfect. From the beautiful florals to the gorgeous church ceremony and venue reception, everything was so dreamy. The ceremony was in one of the most beautiful church cathedrals. The arched ceilings and the stunning murals were absolutely exquisite. With all the love in the air and the coming together of friends and family, Emily and Conor’s wedding was truly so magical. Read on to hear all about this beautiful wedding day!

As a Carmel Wedding Photographer, it was an honor to capture Emily and Conor’s special day. I love their story! These two lovebirds met in college after both accepting jobs in the Athletics department of their university. The cool part is they were both offered the job by the same person who happened to be Emily’s family friend. Emily and Conor were good friends during college and only started dating after Emily graduated. I love how when two worlds collide beautiful things happen like for Emily and Conor. They were totally supposed to meet and the rest is history!

What do you love most about your partner?

“I love that she is kind, makes me laugh, and is my favorite travel companion even though she likes to get to the airport aggressively early.” -Conor

“The two things I love most about Conor is his ‘always have fun’ attitude and caring nature. Conor’s parents joke about how as a child, Conor never wanted the party to end and always wanted to stay up late with the adults. The same thing is true today. Conor is not one to shy away from a social event or leave a party early and I love this about him. He has played a huge part in bringing me out of my naturally shy shell and also cares so deeply about his family and those that he loves. He is always putting mine and his family’s happiness and desires over his.” -Emily

Emily and Conor’s first look was absolutely breathtaking. Even their sweet pup got to join in on the special moment. Carmel has some of the prettiest scenery ever. I absolutely loved capturing these two lovebirds right in the stunning rolling hills and mountains of Tehama. There really isn’t anything like this backdrop! After an intimate cathedral ceremony, all the guests headed to the reception which was a party! Emily and Conor’s family and friends sure know how to have fun. From the speeches from dear friends to breaking it down on the dance floor, the night was lively and a celebration I know they won’t forget. It was an honor to be a part of Emily and Conor’s big day of new beginnings.
