I met Zach and Isabel through my boyfriend Jonathan. Zach and Jonathan work in real estate together here in Carmel, and both have a lot in common. He and his fiance have become good friends of ours, and we enjoy going out to dinner together. When I found out they were getting married and looking for a wedding photographer, of course, I had to offer up my services! I am a local Carmel wedding photographer, so yes, please! I even helped them find their venue. We recently took engagement photos in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea and Big Sur so take a look! These two are just darling!

How Did You Two Get Engaged?

“We got engaged in Maui on the beach during the sunset! Isabel knew! All her friends told her it would happen. They were right!” – Zach

How Did You Meet?

“We met in Managerial Accounting. I walked into class the first day freshly single after a tough break up over summer and made it my mission to sit next to the FINEST girl in the room. I made fun of her elaborate collection of highlighters. We exchanged contact info and spent the next 18 months becoming best friends with zero physical contact. One evening when we were both single, I invited her over and made her dinner. The rest is history.” – Zach

What Do You Love The Most About Each Other?

“I love the way she is so patient and understanding with me and with everyone she meets, and how she treats everyone with the same respect and care. I also love her laugh – the one that almost blurts out and doesn’t sound anything like her voice. That’s when you know you’ve really said something funny.” – Zach

“I love that he always knows how I’m feeling and why I’m feeling that way. We’re always on the same page & understand each other.” – Isabel

Zach and Isabel are getting married this year in Monterey, California, and as their Carmel-by-the-Sea engagement photographer, I couldn’t be more excited to photograph their wedding! I loved the opportunity to help them find their wedding venue at Monterey Memory Garden!
