Today’s Carmel family session is one near and dear to my heart because of my great friend, Kaitlin! You know her as the superstar behind Pocketful Of Plans, a local wedding planner and designer service here in Big Sur, Monterey, and Pebble Beach! The two of us have worked together for a long time on lots of couple sessions, from proposals to weddings. Needless to say, I was over the moon to capture her Carmel family session with her mother, Sandra, Kaitlin’s eleven-month-old daughter, Addie, and her newest little boy, Logan!

Mother’s Day Family Session In Carmel

This session is meant to celebrate Kailtin’s mom. The timing of it may have gotten away from us, but at the end of the day, it’s never too late nor too early to celebrate your mom! We also wanted to relive another session with Kaitlin’s new baby boy, Logan. As a Carmel family photographer, I loved this multigenerational session. Logan, the gals, and my camera!

We knew we wanted coastline and or mountains for this occasion. Photographing your friends and their family is really fulfilling work that makes me love what I do all the more. We even had some toys to help keep Addie’s attention and smiles. Of course, Addie is the sweetest thing and SO smiley! She loves people so it wasn’t the least bit tricky to get her to smile.

A Carmel family session on film adds such a sweet and timeless touch to it all. It’s perfect for loved ones to enjoy even 20 years down the road. Plus, it makes the imagery of Kaitlin, her mom, and her daughter that much more classic, beautiful, and authentic! I loved every minute with these ladies.
