Celebrating Love in Pebble Beach. The perfect match

The sweetest inquiry came through about Celebrating Love in Pebble Beach surprise proposal, and I could not have asked for a more perfectly matched couple to photograph! I always say that we at AGS Photo Art are for the romantics at heart and the timeless couples looking for their authentic moments to be captured. Dominic and Michael embody those traits to the T! Their session was like a dream.

Capturing true love

At AGS Photo Art, we celebrate all forms of love, especially LGBTQ couples! We are so happy to show support and allyship in the face of diversity. This Pebble Beach Proposal with Dominic and Michael are such a fun-loving, adventurous couple with classic tastes and similar interests. It is easy to see how they click so well, and truly magical to capture such a couple. When asked about his favorite qualities of his soon-to-be fiance, Dominic replied, “I love his selflessness and how he always puts others first. He is a total goofball who loves to make dad jokes and brings out the most joyous side of me.” We could totally see that looking through their photos!

From long-distance to living together

The two did long distance for about 16 months when they first started dating! I asked Dominic how he knew it was time to propose. “There are a lot of things over the years that have contributed to me knowing. I think the time I knew he was for sure the one is when he drove cross country to move in together for me,” he said. So precious!

Moments to treasure forever

They shared with me that they both put family first. Things like memory books, photos, and weekend trips are how they show affection to each other. This translated so well into choosing me as their photographer, as I specialize in designing heirloom albums and physical prints! They are handcrafted with the highest quality materials, and made to last generations. The hand-picked collection of images are in one bound book. Popping the question!

Dominic put together the sweetest tribute of his own in a similar fashion! He made a book with photos of their first two years together, with the last page saying “Will you marry me?” Once Michael reached that fateful page, Dominic knelt down with a handsome black ring. It seemed to be the perfect moment for both of them, one they were both confident about and ready for. My team shoots over 50+ surprise proposals a year, and their Pebble Beach surprise proposal was one for the books.
