Lauren and Mike came to Pebble Beach for a little vacation getaway. The two of them and little baby Noah were so soft and snuggly together! Slowly but surely, he became more smiley for the camera. Proper timing is really important when it comes to photographing with your little ones! They might be calmer/happier in the mornings or afternoons and that’s when you’d want to have them in front of the camera.

This family session in Pebble Beach really drives home to me that photographing newborns always feels really special, even sacred. After all, it won’t be long until they’re not newborns anymore! That’s something I’ve heard from every family- that the timing of it really sneaks up on you! This is why family sessions are so important when it comes to freezing time for you to look back on later.

I can never get enough of shooting here in Pebble Beach! It’s so picturesque and has a lot of natural elements to offer from ocean blues to forest greens in photos. It’s such a picture-perfect area for any and every special occasion, from family sessions to proposals, engagements, weddings, and more!
