Jacob and Shannon’s surprise proposal in Pebble Beach was on a beautiful overcast day with clear views of the lodge and golf course. In fact, there never seems to be a time when Pebble Beach isn’t picture-perfect for a special occasion, whether it’s clear or a little foggy! We captured this new chapter at Stillwater Cove right on the peer, and photographed all along the beach and 18th hole at Pebble. Then, this happy couple finished off the day with dinner at Stillwater Bar & Grill, celebrating with their families. Read on for all the smiles!

What Do You Love Most About Your Partner?

“We first met at my work Christmas Party. Shannon came as her roommate’s +1 just to have a little fun. It wasn’t until months later that we really got to spend time together and learn each other’s story at a birthday celebration in Scottsdale. We really owe it all to my coworker/her roommate who introduced us. I knew Shannon was the one after only a weeks into our relationship. She’s an amazing woman in all aspects of her life, but when she started revealing her silly side I knew she was THE ONE. I admittedly didn’t hold back how I felt about her pretty quickly into the relationship. But when you know, you know, you know?”

“I knew I wanted to propose for a while now. I purchased the ring a year ago but was waiting until the right time. Then COVID threw a wrench in things since I had planned to propose on her birthday last year in NYC. It was going to be at a place we went early in our relationship. A lot of things happened in this last year that brought us even closer together, which I didn’t think was possible! And I just couldn’t wait any longer to asker her to be the future Mrs. Meyer. I just love Shannon’s aura. She carries with her a strong sense of confidence, she’s beautiful, so smart, and ALWAYS puts others first. She also knows how to cut a rug and let loose!” – Jacob

Pebble Beach Surprise Proposal Photographer

Jacob and Shannon’s surprise proposal in Pebble Beach started as visiting Shannon’s mom and family for a few days to go golfing. Everyone was in on it except her! She had no idea. It really was the perfect set up! After all, Pebble Beach is THE place to be for any avid golfers in the family. This was always going to a special trip planned with Shannon’s family because her parents have spent a lot of time here, and her dad was a HUGE golf lover.

Celebrating With Family

Shannon wore this super cute black dress with little yellow flowers on it for her surprise proposal in Pebble Beach. She and Jacob are such a sweet and fun couple! I loved how smiley they were together! He walked her down to the pier to pop the question. She was so thrilled and totally blown away! There were locals at the end of the pier who were clapping and cheering and cheering for them too! In the end, Jacob surprised Shannon even more when his family came to celebrate with them.

Shannon’s family was waiting for them at the 18th at Pebble. Then, Jacob’s parents flew out for an additional surprise for the evening! It was really heartwarming to see both sides of the family come together for this special occasion.
