Family Session Photography At The Beach

Eileen and Gary wanted their family session at the beach. Nothing like the west coast here in Nor Cal for that, right? As their Monterey family photographer, I made sure to capture fun sand and shoreline shots. Life’s a beach, after all! We actually had our session earlier in the morning as opposed to golden hour like many of my other sessions. It was a welcome change of pace! I’m quickly learning to love that early morning sunshine just as much as my sunset shoots!

Being a family photographer here in Monterey (and beyond!) is so special to me! When couples trust me not just with their love story, like their proposal, engagement, wedding, etc. but also with their kids along for the ride- it makes a session more than just a session! It makes memories for everyone involved, even me, the photographer! There’s something really fascinating about seeing other families and their dynamics, don’t you think? I know my camera and I eat it all up!
