Amber & Kyle’s Monterey Wedding at The Barnes

Amber and Kyle’s wedding day was in a word: perfect! As a Monterey wedding photographer, there is nothing we love more than a beautiful, sunny wedding day for our wedding couple. And that is exactly what Amber and Kyle had on their special day! The weather was flawless and the lighting – every wedding photographer’s dream! Amber and Kyle were such a fun couple to work with and their wedding day was so beautiful and full of love. It was an honor to be a part of it! Amber and Kyle’s wedding day started off at the Portola Hotel and Spa, where each of them was getting ready in separate suites. Honestly, it was picture-perfect (literally) because even though Amber and Kyle were in separate suites, the photos look so seamless together. Getting ready with Amber and her daughter, Camille, was seriously the absolute sweetest. To be able to photograph their dresses together and all the little moments between them was such a joyful event. Meanwhile, Kyle was having a blast with his groomsmen in their suite. Kyle’s friends were giving toasts and it was so sweet to see his friends celebrate him on his big day with Amber.

Don’t get me started on Amber and Kyle’s first look. The couple wanted a private first look together to soak in the moments before their ceremony. Kyle was anxiously awaiting Amber’s arrival in a little garden in Monterey. Let me tell you, his reaction to seeing his beautiful bride was beyond perfect. He was so shocked! He had to take a moment to take it all in and it was simply the sweetest thing I’ve seen. Following the first look, we took a few bride and groom portraits in the garden and it was just magical!

Amber and Kyle’s bridal party was so fun to be around! They were full of energy and acted as a hype group for Kyle and Amber on their big day. It was so fun to watch the guys goof off (as seen below) and it made for a super fun portrait session with the whole bridal party, for sure!

Amber and Kyle’s ceremony was beautiful. Kyle walked down the aisle with Camille which stole a lot of hearts that day! We even captured a moment of Amber looking down at her guests prior to her ceremony which was just beautiful. Surrounded by family and friends, Amber and Kyle tied the knot and the celebration began shortly after. And let me tell you, they partied their butts off! There was plenty of dancing and the kids were having a blast running around. Overall, it was simply the perfect wedding day!
