You know I jump at every chance to be my couple’s Pebble Beach photographer so I was over the Moon when Catie and Austin booked me to photograph their honeymoon portrait session! These two are from Long Island, New York and have been together for three years. You can tell they were The One for each other with their energy and dynamic. In fact, Catie even told me she knew Austin was The One from the first date! Isn’t that so sweet?

They’re SUCH a fun and bubbly couple, and it was a joy to be their Pebble Beach photographer for their honeymoon portrait session. The area has no shortage of picturesque spots so you know I took them all over. From Spanish Bay to the trails to Del Monte Forest too, of course. Pebble Beach Portrait Photography

Catie’s dad has always wanted to go to Pebble Beach so she already knew she wanted that to be their location. I love coming alongside my couples and capturing these sweet memories for them to frame and keep for years and years! A variety of portraits and styles is my go-to recommendation. Romantic, classic, candid- all of the above!

Catie told me it would be hard to NOT get pictures of her and Austin laughing, which made me so happy to hear because that’s half the “work” of a session done as a Pebble Beach photographer! These two didn’t need my help whatsoever when it came to getting into the headspace for having fun and simply enjoying each other’s company. When your photographer can help their couple can turn their nervous energy into playfulness and fun, that’s when it stops being a session. It becomes making memories together! Of course, when the couple can do that on their own, even better!

Spanish Bay, The Trails, And Del Monte Forest

My holy trinity of Pebble Beach spots! Spanish Bay is right on the 17 Mile Drive, which means spectacular views everywhere you look! You can’t go wrong there. The trails and Del Monte Forest make for really beautiful and intimate woodsy portraits too. There are so many pretty nature elements, plus boardwalk strolls along the coast. You get the best of both worlds with plenty of forest and beach together!

Many of my couples book me as their Pebble Beach photographer in part because they love the area and golfing. But even if you’re not much of a golfer (like me- I’m definitely better with a camera, I’ll stick to that!), the grounds at The Inn At Spanish Bay make for gorgeous backdrops. I really can’t say enough about the area! It’s such a hidden gem and I was so delighted photographing Catie and Austin’s honeymoon portrait session here!
