A proposal in Big Sur disguised as a weekend getaway

Gentlemen, take notes! Mark inquired about my photography services for a surprise proposal in Big Sur. His vision was lush, green hills and a panoramic view of the coastline. Most of all, he wanted me to perfectly capture the timeless love between him and his fiancé-to-be.

Hint hint…

Mark totally understood his mission once Vivian took the week off work and subtly mentioned her dreams of a ring on her finger. Hint hint, you go girl! Needless to say, they were both ready to promise a lifetime of love to each other. We are swooning over their photos! Have you ever seen a couple happier and more in love? It’s clear as day that they are so perfect for each other.

‘Mission: Proposal in Big Sur’ accomplished!!

The moment Mark got down on one knee, Vivian was elated. If she was expecting it, we couldn’t tell! She sure looked surprised, and must have been over the moon about this proposal in Big Sur. And she looked gorgeous in her floral dress! Mark cleaned up nicely too in his khakis and knitted polo. The weather worked in our favor and, oh – did I mention the RING?

Stunning and ethically sourced

Look how brilliant this yellow-gold diamond ring is! We especially love the halo moment. Mark chose this ring for Vivian at Clean Origin. He almost went with Yadav Jewelery as they had gorgeous selections as well! Bravo, Mark. We could tell it was the perfect choice for Vivian and her radiant personality.

Next up, dinner reservations

Ticking all the boxes, dinner was an absolute must! Mark made reservations for that night at Roy’s in Pebble Beach. Talk about fancy! With their Hawaiian-infused cuisine, it was bound to be a delicious and memorable feast. We’d say that’s the right way to spoil your partner!

Portola Hotel & Spa

Next up was their cozy return to Portola Hotel & Spa. This luxurious stay is a stone’s throw away from Monterey’s own historic Fisherman’s Wharf. It’s riddled with cute gift shops and seafood restaurants. Bonus – it’s dog-friendly! This was perfect for Mark and Vivian, as their mini goldendoodle awaited them at the hotel! We have our very own mini goldendoodle named Tiger. As many of you know, he’s our honorary mascot here at AGS Photo Art. It’s always a great idea to take your furry friend along to your photoshoot and travels, we don’t mind!
