What first stood out to me about Carmel Valley’s Quail Lodge and Golf Club is their stellar staff. They were so friendly, approachable, kind, and open to all couples! Moreover, when I met with the General Manager and some of the staff, it was nothing but a delight! From a photographer’s perspective- and especially as a local Carmel wedding photographer- there are various locations to the property. Quail Lodge’s 850-acres of natural beauty is located on the sunny side of Carmel. We provide clear-blue California sunshine and mild temperatures nearly year-round complemented by cool valley breezes that meander through surrounding Santa Lucia Mountains.

Quail Lodge offers a free night stay for the wedding couple. Included in all overnight stays, and without an additional resort fee, are complimentary WiFi Internet, overnight parking, access to the lodge’s heated outdoor swimming pool, dedicated fitness areas, the Lodge’s all-grass 9-hole putting course, sand bocce ball court, steam room, and a variety of online newspapers via our PressReader app.

The Barn, which is the ceremony site, offers a unique staging area for the wedding party to get ready at on the day of the event. They are adjacent (within easy walking distance) to the ceremony itself.

Lastly, Quail Lodge is one of the few venues in the Carmel/Carmel Valley area for which the couple has an opportunity to contract a block of on-site guestrooms for your wedding guests based on availability at the time of booking.

Lastly, is there something you’d like to emphasize about your venue?

We understand that our couples are busy. We try our best to maximize your time by utilizing our experienced Sales Manager to assist with planning your perfect rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception complemented by seamless service, legendary attention to detail, and superb local cuisine. And, one of the best parts, is that we host most items in-house, which helps reduce the number of outside vendors and hours of unnecessary planning!

What’s more, the barn at Quail Meadows is two stories and allows for the wedding party to spread out and relax while getting ready. The barn looks over the serene backdrop of the meadows and allows the wedding party to oversee the set up while getting ready. Additionally, the barn features individual mirrors and “stations,” so each member of the wedding party can have their own area to get ready at.

Overall, Quail Meadows is a hidden gem. You really have to see it to appreciate its full beauty. We offer one of the best values on the Monterey Peninsula, as we do not believe that quality and beauty must be compromised for affordability.
