How time flies! It feels like just yesterday that I photographed Isabel and Zach’s gorgeous Monterey Bay wedding at Memory Garden. Now, fast forward 2 years to this beautiful day in Pebble Beach, they are now a family of 3! I am always ecstatic when I get to photograph my couples more than once. They were clearly just as enamored now at their Pebble Beach maternity session with each other as when they first got married. 

A Legacy to Look Back On

It was an honor when they asked me to be their Pebble Beach maternity photographer! Maybe one day I will also be capturing their baby’s first steps. As a legacy photographer, I am always looking forward to the complete story. There’s something very special about having a cohesive and consistent style of photographed milestones. It ties together into that one big story that clients can look back on.

Genuine joy, captured

Zach’s favorite thing about Isabel is her laugh – and we can see why! Her joy is contagious and genuine. He describes it as “the one that almost blurts out and doesn’t sound anything like her voice. That’s when you know you’ve really said something funny.” They both have such an easygoing dynamic that photographing them came naturally, just like our last session! This could also be because Isabel’s favorite thing about Zach is his ability to know how she is feeling – and that totally translates through these photos.

So sweet!

It was such a beautiful day in the forest, with dappled light filtering through the branches and greenery. Isabel wore an elegant flowy dress paired with the cutest boho-style woven heeled sandals, while Dominic had on a sharp black suit. There was such a sweet serenity and stillness while photographing them both. Speaking of sweet, these sweethearts are both sweet tooths, having a love for cake and ice cream! One more of many things that bring them together.

Pebble Beach’s beautiful coastal scenery

Early on in our session came Isabel’s famous and beloved laugh! I was so happy to capture her in her candidness. We moved to our next location – the beach! As a Pebble Beach photographer, I know each and every coastal cove and hideaway perfect for my couples. Dominic ditched the formal suit and opted for a lightweight button-up, and Isabel chose a classy and casual yellow dress adorned with her colorful and cultural shawl. As they walked barefoot in the soft sand, it was plain to see how thrilled they were to welcome their baby girl into the world.
