During my time back home on the East Coast, I was able to photograph Ashley and Anthony’s beautiful Lake Mohawk family session in New Jersey! I’ve known Ashley since college, in fact, we were fellow photography majors! I was even in her wedding and we’ve stayed close friends over the years. She and Anthony have been together since college and since then, they’ve welcomed their newest little boy, Anderson, into the world!

I loved photographing this lovely couple’s beautiful Lake Mohawk family session. It doubled as time spent catching up with dear friends! It’s moments like these that make me truly love my job, especially in returning to my roots and starting this East Coast series of reuniting with families and couples I’ve photographed in the past grow.

Hey, Google: Where’s Lake Mohawk?

Lake Mohawk is the cutest, most charming lake town in Sparta, New Jersey that looks like something out of a picturebook. Their downtown life (and Italian food!) is just amazing! And their German Christmas Market is truly been a winter wonderland! There are so many perfect bridges and docks for photo-ops.

Ashley and Anthony haven’t had a family session since their little Anderson was born. We’ve been trying to connect for one for some time now, and now that time for their beautiful Lake Mohawk family session is here!

In Between Autumn & Winter On Lake Mohawk

As a hybrid film and digital photographer, I love how both mediums capture my couple’s love and emotions. Film truly takes in the moment with the click! the shutter button while digital captures every second of each unique session. Both make for artistic shots and with a few autumn leaves leftover for Ashley and Anthony’s beautiful Lake Mohawk family session, photographing them in the beautiful weather and perfect lighting made for such heartwarming portraits!

Family Sessions Capture The Family Tree

I love taking hybrid film and digital photography anywhere and everywhere, but the East Coast will always hold a special place in my heart because I grew up there! Moving to California to grow AGS Photo Art just means I feel right at home from coast to coast.

I loved being able to revisit so much of my life on the East Coast, not only how my family has gotten bigger, but the families of the couples I hold near and dear to my heart. Seeing where they are now from where they started, it’s my everything! Ashley and Anthony’s first little boy, Austin, has grown up so much! And now he has his little brother Anderson to grow up with too! It makes me old just thinking about it- let alone capturing this beautiful Lake Mohawk family session!
