I was beyond excited to get to photograph Kristine and Gino’s surprise portraits at the alpaca farm! Why at an alpaca farm, you ask? These two used to work there- The Bluebird Farm– and it was SUCH a treat to see this lovely couple play with them (not all alpacas are created equal, they definitely had some favorites!). A unique photo background, to be sure. I adore photographing couples and their fur babies- most of the time, it’s dogs and cats- but we have more than enough love for Kristine and Gino’s alpacas too! I can’t wait for you all to see their darling photos- read on!

California Coast Meets Jersey Shore

I previously photographed Kristine and Gino for their wedding in San Jose so being able to work for them again was a treat! It’s such an honor for me to capture the chapters of my couple’s love story, from your proposal to your wedding, to future portraits! These two truly reflective of what AGS means to me!

Kristine is from California and Gino is from New Jersey, and they met in college in the Bronx. As someone who moved from coast to coast myself (Pennsylvania to California), and of course as a hybrid photographer, I love working with couples from different coasts! The idea that two people from opposite sides of the country can meet by chance and fall in love on purpose is a beautiful thing. Seeing love go the distance is a huge part of why I do what I do. Their coast to coast story is so emblematic of my business and passions.

Alpaca Farm Delights

Kristine and Gino’s surprise portraits at the alpaca farm they used to work at are going to serve as fun Christmas / New Years’ cards for their family. What’s the surprise? Well, besides the fun pictures of them and the alpacas, these two are also making plans to move to California! Talk about a fun adventure to be had! This is such a darling way to deliver exciting news! Of course, the day itself was a blast too.

I can’t say I’ve photographed a lot of alpacas before, but now I can! Their furry friends are so cute and it was a joy to see Kristine and Gino play around with them. I’m confident they’ll have the most adorable cards ready to send to their loved ones.
