Connor and Tiffany’s Big Sur Garrapata Beach proposal was full of smiles and of course, gorgeous photographs on the cliffs and coast! Connor especially really worked hard to make the day a perfect as he could. He and I worked together to find the perfect location. We scouted lots of locations all over Big Sur because he truly wanted everything to be super special, and as his local Big Sur photographer, I was happy to lend my expertise!

How Did You Meet?

“We met back in April- April 21, 2017. She was someone I hired to help do promotional work with a company I worked with- not exactly a glamorous setup for love at first sight- but she has the warmest heart and most genuine soul I have ever met. She cares more about others than herself. And most importantly, her smile! When I get her to laugh a lot she snorts a bit and it’s the funniest thing. I knew she was the one during the pandemic- the day I left to be with her once lockdown hit- I drove all the way to Texas. Now, I’ve had the ring since October and been just waiting.” – Connor

The first meeting doesn’t always have to be glamorous for it to become a wonderful love story- driving all the way to Texas! That’s so powerful and heartwarming to hear! Connor and I actually have a few mutual friends, and that’s how he found me. Preparing The Surprise!

It was a cool and cloudy day when we arrived at Garrapata State Park. Everything was set up and Tiffany was none the wiser! As per Connor’s plans, this Big Sur Garrapata Beach proposal was meant to be a total surprise. Tiffany thought they were going ring shopping soon but in reality, he was a few steps ahead of her!

We had a little cheese and wine picnic set up for these two right on the beach. The magical moment happened when Connor led Tiffany to the water and got down on one knee! It was just darling- you can really see the love in their eyes when they look at each other.

We did lots of photos around the state beach- cliffsides, coastlines, all that good stuff! The cool and cloudy weather gave their session this really romantic touch that I can never get enough of. Absolutely loved getting to capture this special day for Tiffany and Connor!
