Today on the Journal, we’re revisiting my dear friends, Shannon and Tom, for their beautiful Pebble Beach elopement at Spanish Bay! This super intimate, private wedding was such an honor to photograph as a Pebble Beach elopement photographer. And to capture such a momentous occasion for my dear friends, it was just the best! Read on for all the pretty details!
Getting Ready For The Elopement
Of course, I INSISTED that Shannon and Tom get ready for their beautiful Pebble Beach elopement at my studio Suite Q Photography Studio. Both as their friend and as a Pebble Beach elopement photographer, I loved getting to be there for every special moment! Aren’t they stunning?
Tom’s suit (Men’s Wearhouse) is so dapper and Shannon’s wedding dress by BHDN has such a classic charm to it. All the romantic details like her Rothy’s shoes make the whole look so timeless. My favorite touch has to be the clutch with her initials on it!
After getting ready, we did these gorgeous portraits at the beach in Big Sur. I love that about where I’m based as a photographer. From Big Sur to Monterey, Carmel, Pebble Beach, and beyond- there is SUCH beauty everywhere!
First Look At Pebble Beach Del Monte Forest
Pebble Beach is a very significant place for Shannon and Tom. The two of them actually first met at a mutual friend’s birthday party about three or four years prior! Fast forward to now, they’re staying at the nearby Spanish Bay and tying the knot here on the sand!
It’s such a serendipitous instance because that Shannon and Tom actually ran into that same mutual friend during our session! Isn’t that crazy? She was celebrating her birthday at Pebble Beach again this year. Imagine the surprise of finding out your friends are getting married when you see them in a suit and gown down the street! I bet she was one of the first to find out since our session was going to be part of their official announcement! I love witnessing serendipity like this!
Their Pebble Beach Ceremony
Shannon and Tom’s intimate, private wedding was all done along the cliffs for that gorgeous ocean and skyline that a Pebble Beach elopement photographer like me loves! Shannon’s brother officiated their ceremony and Shannon’s sister-in-law was the maid of honor. Everything felt so near and dear and that fondness really came through in every photo!
Another lovely detail of the ceremony was the naked cake from M Baked Goods. It’s so dainty and cute! I’m so happy for Shannon and Tom to literally be able to have their cake and eat it too on their special Pebble Beach elopement day! To my dear friends, I have nothing but love for you both!
Shannon and Tom’s love for Pebble Beach has definitely added to love for the area after their beautiful elopement there. If you’re looking for a seasoned Pebble Beach Photographer, I’d be honored to capture your love story! Contact me here and let’s make it happen.
