Matt and Jenn’s Big Sur Proposal Photoshoot was a dream. These two have shared many special moments together in sequestered places while traveling. With that said, it was important that they have their proposal feel intimate and special surrounded by nature. The overlook of the ocean set the scene perfectly and you could feel the sparks fly when Matt got on his knee to pop the question. For all the details, you will have to keep reading!

Big Sur Engagement Photoshoot

It was an honor to photograph Matt and Jenn’s Big Sur Proposal Photoshoot. Matt and Jenn travel together quite often to explore, so while Matt reached out to me to plan this proposal it was perfect timing as they were planning a trip to visit beautiful Big Sur. These two lovebirds had a natural chemistry and it was such a fun time getting to capture their engagement photoshoot. We finished with a stroll on the beach and ended with a dance on the shore.

What do you love most about your partner? 

I love how caring she is and how she makes me feel. Her character and how hard she works on whatever she’s trying to accomplish is definitely one of my favorite things about her. I laugh most often at her feisty and opinionated personality. Sometimes I find it hysterical how she reacts to things when she isn’t knowingly being funny.

What do you love to do in your spare time together?

We love hanging out on the couch after stressful days. When the world isn’t so crazy, we like to travel for a week or two, or do weekend getaways to closer spots locally in Canada. We have a shared passion for Toronto sports (Leafs & Jays).

How long have you been together?

Almost 7 years in mid-June.

When did you know they were THE one?

I knew she was the one when I brought her to meet the family shortly after we began dating. We visited the family cottage for a long weekend and she fit right in.
