Cape May Family Session | Mary & Chris

full family session in Cape May, New Jersey by film photographer AGS Photo Art

I recently came back from the East Coast and one couple I had the pleasure of photographing was Mary and Chris’ Cape May, New Jersey family session! I’ve been photographing Mary and her family for a few years now. I’ve photographed her brother’s family too! Being recommended to family and friends by my couples really means the whole wide world to me!

It’s always so nostalgic seeing Mary. The babies get bigger every time I see them. (Totally makes me feel the years that have gone by…!) Read on for all the smiles in this Cape May family session!

Family Session In Cape May Photography

I’ve photographed Mary and her family from the East Coast to the West Coast. She and Chris are originally from the East Coast but moved west for a time, then back to the east again. Cape May is actually the United States’ oldest seaside resort with its pristine beaches and promenades. It’s on the southernmost point of New Jersey and is SUCH a pretty year-round destination for families and couples- and of course, Cape May photographers like me!

The city is just as beautiful in the morning as it is in the afternoon and evening, which is something I LOVE about it as a Cape May family photographer. You can spend a ton of time here and still find hidden gems! There are all sorts of neighboring towns like North Cape May and its villas, or further out, Somers Point and Ocean City. I say it makes for a super fun road trip!

East Coast Destination Photographer

As many of you may already know, I’m originally from the East Coast myself! Scranton, Pennsylvania is home to me and so is Carmel, California. Ultimately, I don’t know that I can choose between East Coast and West Coast beaches! I love traveling and being a destination photographer lets me combine that love with my work!

On top of visiting family back home and going to see my eye doctors, I also get to capture Cape May family sessions like Mary and Chris’! Anywhere on the East Coast is fair game for photographing your special occasions. Heck, anywhere in the United States and even beyond- I’ll happily go international with you!
