Carmel Valley Ranch portrait sessions are a delight to shoot, and I’m not just saying that because I’m a local Carmel Valley Ranch photographer! When Anastasia and Tünde reached out to me over e-mail, I just knew that they would be a special couple to photograph. They both met and live in LA currently, and Tünde proposed to Anastasia on the coast of Rovinj, Croatia at sunset. They knew that they loved Pebble Beach and Carmel Valley, so they chose to do a portrait session with me at Carmel Valley Ranch! I was so honored to be a part of their love story.

Anastasia and Tünde are both avid golf fans. They adore everything about golf, so it made sense for them to come visit the area during the U.S. Open. I was able to get to know them before our portrait session. We visited the U.S. Open together, followed Tiger Woods (along with hundreds of other people), and ate sandwiches under the warm local Carmel, California sun.

As a photographer, I loved that they chose matching outfits for their portrait session. It was a perfect day at Carmel Valley Ranch for photography. The sun was shining, the fields were green, and they were so darling in every photograph. I mean really- how cute are their outfits?

CVR has such beautiful lavender fields! There are little areas to photograph at every turn. It was so important for me as a local Carmel Valley Ranch photographer to capture their love in all of the right places- especially the golf course! I love choosing locations that are important to my couples. It’s a way to personalize their experience! Knowing your way around the venue is especially key, which is why I highly recommend hiring a local Carmel photographer!
