Quianna from Quianna Marie Photography connected me with Nancy Dreyer initially. I felt like there was an instant connection! Nancy and I first met online when she inquired about doing family portraits. Her family was getting together for a family reunion and celebration. As a portrait photographer, I knew it would be perfect to do Pebble Beach family portraits!

They rented an incredible home in Pebble Beach that looked like a unique chateau. There were so many backdrops: an open lawn, beautiful stairs, a fountain, and a wine cellar! I loved how the grandkids ran around! I knew that I wanted to emphasize with portrait photography capturing the grandparents.

Photographing family sessions is exciting because I’m capturing everyday interactions: the newly engaged couples, the grandparents and grandchildren, the new families, etc. There was so much opportunity at this photoshoot! I was grateful to be a part of it as a portrait photographer.

Big families also create awesome family portraits because I can capture the various dynamics between family members. I love seeing how the family interacts and getting those candid moments.

Overall, this was such a fun shoot in Pebble Beach! I can’t wait to do something like it again- I love being a portrait photographer!
