Intimate Holman Ranch Wedding
Alea and Devon were such a fun couple to work with for their intimate Holman Ranch wedding! The couple knew they wanted to have a winter wedding with just a handful of their closest family and it was just perfect. The wedding day was just magical with the sun peeking through the clouds. The trees were turning colors; which matched beautifully with the deep red and green velvet dresses the couples’ family wore. We were able to adventure the whole day around Holman Ranch together! Alea and Devon’s picture-perfect intimate wedding ended with the two dancing the night away!
About our adventurous couple
When I first met Alea and Devon, they visited my Carmel Valley office to chat about their wedding day plans. They were incredibly sweet, laid-back, and obviously smitten with one another. Alea and Devon described themselves as very adventurous! They told me that they loved to be in nature. They enjoyed hiking the most! Devon, a Carmel Valley local, loved Chewy’s Ridge. Originally, the couple’s wedding plans included tying the knot at the Ridge surrounded by incredible views. Unfortunately, because of the winter weather conditions and snow, the roads were closed. However, this did not hinder the couple’s wedding plans! Instead, the couple held their wedding at Holman Ranch.
Keeping with the adventure vibe, Alea wore her hiking socks and boots under her wedding dress! Personally, I loved the little touch that made it unique to her and Devon. Plus, it looked super cute! She also wore the sweetest flower crown. Alea and Devon’s ceremony was very personal for them. Alea walked down the aisle with her father, clutching onto the family’s Bible. The couple exchanged vows with close family watched and Carmel’s stunning treeline and mountain range in the background.
Although we couldn’t get to the Ridge where they wanted to get married, Holman Ranch still had gorgeous views that Alea and Devon wanted in their wedding portraits! After their ceremony, we adventured all over Holman Ranch’s property taking breathtaking portraits. The light was perfection, the mountain range in the background was captivating and the pop of color from Alea’s bouquet was just lovely.
