Intimate Monterey Wedding

I photographed Chris and Allison’s intimate Monterey wedding at the Perry House. Their wedding really celebrated the joining of two families into one. The whole day was centered around family. Family is really important to the couple, as they shared with me during their Big Sur family shoot. Both Chris and Allison both started their day getting ready with their children. The day ended with both of them dancing on the dance floor with the kids. Overall, this was such a sweet intimate Monterey wedding day! Read on to see more of Chris and Allison’s special day!

A Family Affair

As I mentioned, both Chris and Allison started their day getting ready with their children. It was so heartwarming photographing Allison with her girls. They fixed each other’s hair and held hands together. It was wonderful seeing the strong bond they had! At the same time, Chris was also getting ready with his son. It was an honor to be able to photograph them together. Chris and Allison had a first look at Colton Hall. Following the family-centered theme, all the children were there to witness the couple seeing each other for the first time! After a few bride and groom portraits, I photographed the whole family together!

I was in love with the dress Allison wore on her wedding day! Her dress was sleeveless and form-fitting. The dress was stunningly designed with lace and delicate sequins all the way down the gown. Not only did the dress look amazing, but it fit her so well! She was seriously glowing!

Chris and Allison’s wedding ceremony was very memorable! They spoke about how they met and soon after fell in love. They spoke about how they started joining together their family and how much it meant to them both. It was honestly so heartwarming to see these two families officially blending into one right in front of my eyes!

Once the ceremony was over, I swept Chris and Allison away for some bride and groom photos! We were worried about possible rain on their big day, but luckily the weather was just lovely. As I was photographing Chris and Allison, I could just tell they are perfect for one another. Also, can we talk about the way Chris looks at Allison? All I am saying is get yourself a man that looks at you like Chris looks at Allison. You can just see the love he has for her!

Chris and Allison’s reception was so fun! The couple planned on having a family affair, so they brought lots of games and toys for the kids to play with. There was tic-tac-toe, board games, and more! As the night came to an end, it seemed as though every kid in attendance was on the dance floor! Chris and Allison joined the kids and they all danced the night away! It was an incredible honor to be Chris and Allison’s Monterey wedding photographer.
