Remember Ben and Marie’s Engagement shoot at Clark Summit University? To continue their love story, these two darling paw-rents recently got married at Maiolatesi Wine Cellars in Scranton, Pennsylvania! I had the pleasure of being their Pennsylvania wedding photographer and these are some of their sneak peeks.
Getting Ready
To start, we began the day at Marie’s AirBnB photographing her and her family getting ready. Marie’s family is from the west coast Los Angeles area, so everyone traveled across the country. Above all, it was important for Marie to have an intimate time with her family so everyone could be present. Capturing this as their Pennsylvania wedding photographer was everything to me!
First Look
In honor of Marie’s late sister, she has a tattoo on her back that says “never give up”. She was sure to wear a wedding dress that showed this tattoo as an honor of inviting her sister to be a part of the wedding. Her family wore green bands as well to remember her sister. I felt the presence of her sister despite not knowing her. Truly, it was a special day.
The wedding party consisted of family only, which made the wedding feel more intimate and special. More than anything, family is so important to both of them, so they were sure to set time aside to truly treasure the day together. As their wedding photographer, I loved capturing these precious moments!
All throughout the day, Ben and his brothers were laughing. Fun fact: Ben’s socks were American bulldogs in honor of their dog, Hank! Unfortunately, he was unable to make it. Let’s just say, drool would have been everywhere!

Portraits
Finally, the day in Scranton Pennsylvania had beautiful weather. The sun was out as fall began and the trees began to change shades as well as lose their leaves. Of course, we were thrilled as there was some call for rain showers, which held off until later evening. As their Pennsylvania wedding photographer, I can’t wait to share more about this incredible East Coast wedding at Maiolatesi Wine Cellars!
