Imagine the perfect sunny day in Northern California and that is exactly the kind of day Brooke and Kyle had at their Mission Ranch Carmel Valley wedding. They opted for an intimate wedding with extended bridal portraits and a father daughter first look. Everything was stunning! Fionna Floral created a beautiful bouquet, the sun was shining brightly, and the sheep were grazing in the pasture. Mission Ranch Carmel Valley is one of my favorite wedding venues to photograph at, so I loved this opportunity.
How He Proposed
“I had absolutely no idea he was going to propose! When he did, my nails were not even painted. I thought he was waiting to do it on a trip we were about to go on. But I also bugged him just about everyday about doing it soon so I knew it was coming at some point. He ended up proposing on Easter when we went to my parents house to have dinner. He planned it with my mom and I was so surprised! An egg had a note in it and next thing I know he is on one knee with the ring. It was so much fun and then his parents came over to celebrate along with us!” – Brooke
One of my favorite moments of the day was when Brooke did her first look with her dad. There’s something so touching about seeing the reaction of fathers see their daughter as a bride! All of the tears makes the moment so much more special. Brooke and her dad are very close so it made the experience more sentimental.
