Meeting Sam

First of all, when I first moved to the west coast, I participated in a bridal show at Embassy Suites. A girl named Sam came across the booth, and we immediately connected! Then, she requested me for a date that I was already booked, but since we both felt like we were such a good match, she hired me to be their local Monterey engagement session photographer. Ultimately, we had so much fun with this Pebble Beach engagement session! If only I could be in two places on her wedding date!

Having a connection with your couples is so important as their engagement photographer! I feel like I really connect with each couple I have. It’s almost like we were destined to meet! Sam and Tyler were no different. They felt like instant friends, we had a lot in common and couldn’t stop talking!

A Perfect Beach Day

For starters, Tyler works as a first responder and loves spearfishing, so naturally, we chose to take their pictures at the beach. First, we visited the dock where he occasionally spearfishes. It was a beautiful bright and sunny day in February; a perfect beach day with seventy-degree weather. What a great location right?! As a local Monterey photographer, I know plenty of great spots to photograph precious moments like these!

Their Love Story

Sam and Tyler are high school sweethearts and dated for over ten years! Sam is so sweet and works at Stanford. They act as if they just started dating. I mean, look how darling they are in these pictures! I adored being their local Monterey engagement session photographer!

After photographing them at Pebble Beach area, we traveled over to the Del Monte Forest area of Pebble Beach, and boy did we find the prettiest light! There is something about moss in trees that I love as a local Big Sur photographer! It reminds me of the south and Savannah and overall, it’s so romantic.
