I met Parth and Sampada through a close friend, Rachel Zee Photography. Rachel referred them to me since she was booked on the dates they were planning, and I am so grateful I had the chance to meet these two and be their local Carmel engagement photographer. Parth knew that he wanted to have a Point Pinos Lighthouse Proposal in Pacific Grove, California. Although they are based in the Bay Area, they wanted to come out to explore Pacific Grove for the day.

How He Proposed

The story that Parth told was that they would plan a day where he brought Sampada through a historical tour of Pacific Grove, Carmel, and Monterey. He drove her around to all of the interesting landmarks. They saw seals on the Monterey Coastal Trail, and ultimately fell in love with the central coast’s rocky beaches and chilly weather- two things I love about being a local Carmel engagement photographer!

For the proposal, they walked up to the lighthouse and I hid behind some bushes to shoot the proposal shots. After the proposal, Sampada actually told me she knew that he would propose that day! We laughed about how she knew, but I loved seeing the joy on their faces the entire time.

Joy and Laughter

Parth and Sampada are so fun together! They make each other laugh and smile, which is evident in all of the pictures. Their laughter shows how much joy is in their relationship. I loved capturing these little details as their local Carmel engagement photographer. I feel like it really captures the essence of who they are!

Photographing these two was such a refreshing experience for me. I laughed with them, and I loved seeing their happiness through my lens. Parth and Sampada, congratulations! I know your fusion Indian wedding will be so beautiful.
