This Big Sur surprise proposal photoshoot was an absolute dream. The skies were clear and the sun was out to shine making the colors so vibrant this day. I had a blast photographing Miguel and Peyton. Big Sur is one of the most beautiful locations for a special moment like a surprise proposal. Miguel reached out to me to help him plan everything for the big moment. He wanted to propose to Peyton on the coastline to get all the beautiful shots in front of the ocean and mountains. As a Big Sur proposal photographer, it was an honor to capture Miguel and Peyton’s surprise proposal. These two lovebirds were so fun to photograph. When Miguel got down on his knee, you could feel the sparks fly. They embraced each other and celebrated on the beach as they entered their sweet engagement season. They were so playful on the beach and I absolutely adore these two. I am so excited for them as they get ready for all the wedding festivities!

When did you know they were THE one?

“I knew she was the one shortly after dating her. I just wanted to get to know her well inside and out, and she made me feel so comfortable in my own skin that I couldn’t help but continue to pursue her. She makes me happy, but also stands up for herself and isn’t a pushover and I really appreciate that about her. She keeps me in line, and it helps me be a better version of myself. I love her for all that and more.”

What do you love most about your partner?

“I love the fact that she’s so loving and caring, and she is often selfless, putting those she loves and cares for before her. She makes me laugh all the time because she acts silly, and every night when we are going to bed she will ALWAYS try and scare me. And we both just lie there in bed and laugh so much before we fall asleep. I also love how considerate and kind she is with me and those around her.”
